Raw Materials Process:
Hot Dipped Galvanized or Zinc Coated steel is a common material that is utilized for its corrosion resistance as well as cost effectiveness. The process of Zinc Coating bonds zinc to steel creating a corrosion resistant surface that can withstand a number of different elements to ensure that the base steel maintains its integrity. In the United States zinc coatings are measured in ounces per square foot with the range of zinc coating varying per application. All of the sheet products that we utilize in our manufacturing process are given a “G” designation to indicate the amount of Zinc OZ/FT. |
